hiya!

I am a twenty six year old who aspires to never be lost in a stuffy 9 to 5 job. While I can spend a whole day behind a desk, it is only if I have the right tools to be creative. While, I enjoy a night out with friends I would describe myself as somewhat of a homebody. I love a relaxing night consisting of TV or music, an iced carmalicous & creating something.

I am a nerd, but am OK with it!

I love animals, thunder storms, the smell of rain & fresh cut grass, shoes, canvas shopping bags, finding new music, flip flops, mascara, clean sheets, strawberries & bananas.

I do not love bugs (especially crunchy ones), driving, cuts from shaving, yams & cleaning.

I cannot keep a plant alive but I manage to survive.

I have red hair.

After a very very long college career, I graduated from the local community college in ‘08 with my associates in Graphic Communication Arts and Design. Yea! My degree has helped my hobbies turn into something much greater than I ever imagined. I will attending the University of Nebraska in Omaha this fall to get my bachelors. I plan sometime in the future to also pursue another degree in photography.

I launched jo’s studio in ‘09 to be able to share my passion for design with you.

You will fall in love with my creations, each is designed by me for you with the intention to bring joy & fun into your life! There is a wide variety of fabric, paper & custom creations, with an abundance of options ready to exceed your expectations. Each creation is handmade & will be handled with great care in a smoke free and pet free home.

Hopefully I will be known for many things but until then, I will keep bringing you cool creations.
